Overview
Senior Financial Analyst, Investor Relations at Wingstop Restaurants Inc. This role focuses on shaping how Wingstop shows up in the investment community through investor relations strategy, financial modeling, and narrative development for earnings calls, investor conferences, and leadership updates.
Responsibilities
Support the drafting and implementation of the company’s investor communication strategy, in close partnership with cross-functional teams
Support flawless execution of investor meetings, investor conference presentations, quarterly earnings calls, and webcasts
Lead the creation of high quality financial/statistical analyses and briefing books to support quarterly SEC filings, earnings calls, investor meetings, investor conferences, media appearances, and Board of Director meetings
Closely monitor research reports and performance expectations by the sell-side and partner internally to ensure effective communication of our growth strategies and guidance for the company’s results
Leverage emerging tools, including AI-drive analytics and content support, to streamline reporting, and enhance the clarity and speed of communications
Partner with our public relations team to ensure our external communications are accurate, unified, and consistent with our investor communications
Perform research and analysis on industry trends and peers including financial statement analysis, unit economic analysis, operating performance, and valuation
Manage and update the Investor Relations website and CRM database to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and investor accessibility
Deliver regular ownership and activity reports for the leadership team and Board of Directors
Participate in ad hoc projects and analyses that support corporate strategy
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required
2–4 years of relevant experience in investor relations, investment banking, equity research, consulting, corporate finance, or Big 4 accounting. Relevant experience in a multi-location chain business, such as restaurant, retail, or hospitality, preferred
Strong background in financial modeling, valuation, and financial statement analysis
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with IR-specific tools and databases a plus
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills—you can make complex data clear, concise, and engaging for diverse audiences
Strong business acumen with the ability to connect financial outcomes to operational and strategic levers
High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills—you build trust quickly and collaborate effectively across teams and with external stakeholders
Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced & team-oriented environment
