The Group Insurance Valuation Actuarial team performs valuation and reporting of all Group liabilities and supports related business processes. A key part of this role is to understand how the team’s results impact the overall Group Insurance business and its strategy. The current employee work arrangement for this position is hybrid and requires on-site presence on a recurring basis as determined by the business. Responsibilities
Support the financial reporting process for GAAP and STAT valuation bases. ALM (Asset-Liability Management). AAT (Assumed Appropriate Techniques/Actuarial terms as applicable). Model programming, development, and testing. Create tools and new approaches for understanding drivers of financial results. Produce liability cash flow projections for multiple uses. Work closely with business partners to support the business and strategy. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or related field. Passage of one or more Society of Actuaries exams and working toward ASA designation. Strong technical skills (Microsoft Excel, Access, Power BI, etc.). Highly motivated, well organized, and detail-oriented. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Preferred
Actuarial internship or relevant experience preferred. Programming experience in any language (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Visual Basic, C++, etc.) is preferred but not required. Salary and Benefits
Salary range for this role is from $69,200.00 to $103,000.00, with variation based on location, experience, and skills. Prudential offers a market-competitive base salary with annual bonus potential, comprehensive benefits, and wellness resources, as described below. Market-competitive base salaries, with a yearly bonus potential at every level.
