Position Scope and Impact

The Project Accountant III collaborates with the project team to ensure accurate and compliant project-related accounting, managing comprehensive accounting functions at the job site while supporting core values with professionalism and a positive attitude.

Essential Job Duties

Coordinate with Accounts Payable for vendor setups and invoice processing.

Manage vendor accounts, reconcile statements, and address discrepancies.

Assist with Owner Direct Purchase processes and review invoices for accuracy.

Handle lien waivers, payment notifications, and vendor payments.

Support subcontractor insurance documentation and compliance updates.

Enter and validate data related to notices to owner (NTOs) and lien waivers.

Assist in owner billing documentation and prepare lien waiver packages.

Validate payroll entries in Workday and perform other assigned duties.

Education and Work Experience

Associates or bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.

At least 3 years of experience in accounting, construction experience a plus.

Detail-oriented with multitasking, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under deadlines.

Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook; familiarity with construction management software is helpful.

Experience with ODP programs, COIs, lien waivers, and industry knowledge are advantageous.

Notary or ability to obtain one is a plus.
