Staff Accountant (On-site- Fort Lauderdale)

Heavy balance sheet account reconciliations (we are looking for an expert!) Journal entry preparation Bank reconciliations Excel spreadsheet reporting (V-lookup and pivot tables a must) Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring deadlines are met. Assist in preparing financial statements in compliance with GAAP. Maintain compliance with company policies and processes, internal controls, and regulatory requirements. Prepare detailed schedules and documentation to support annual audits. Conduct variance analyses and provide insights to management. Support tax compliance efforts by gathering and preparing data/reports for the tax team. Participate in ad hoc projects, analysis, and reporting as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 2–3 years of progressive accounting experience with very heavy balance sheet reconciliation experience and understanding. Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel V-lookup and pivot tables and experience with accounting SAP software systems (Sage Intacct and or FloQast experience a huge plus). Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication and collaboration skills.
