Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven

Plant Controller

to lead all financial operations at our LaPorte facility. This role requires a highly skilled professional with a strong background in manufacturing finance, SOX compliance, and process automation. The Plant Controller will own the month-end close, provide strategic insights through budgeting and forecasting, and deliver accurate and timely financial reporting to drive operational and business performance. $150,000 - $170,000 Key Responsibilities

Lead and

own the month-end close process , completing within 2 days or less. Ensure full compliance with

SOX requirements

and maintain strong internal controls. Provide complete ownership of the

plant's P&L , ensuring accuracy and actionable insights. Drive the

automation of financial processes

to increase efficiency and accuracy. Prepare, monitor, and analyze

budgets and forecasts , partnering with leadership to drive results. Deliver variance and margin analysis to support plant operations and decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategy with operational goals. Provide leadership, mentorship, and development to accounting staff at the plant. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in

Accounting or Finance

required;

MBA

preferred. CPA

certification preferred. Minimum of

7 years of recent manufacturing accounting/finance experience . Strong knowledge of

SOX compliance

and internal controls. Proven experience owning the

P&L

and delivering timely financial results. Demonstrated ability to implement

process improvements and automation . Exceptional communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
