Lead and manage business relationships with multiple customer segments including Group Purchasing Organizations and Population Based Decision Makers. Maximize oncology opportunities and enable deeper collaborations with influential customers in the ecosystem, including Oncology Collaborative Groups and GPOs. Own account and area strategic plans influencing external and internal stakeholders, driving an outside-in perspective and informing strategy. Lead the Strategic Oncology Account Directors and Group Purchasing teams in developing Strategic Account Plans with short-term (12–24 months) and long-term (2+ years) goals, including PBDM objectives, contract opportunities and performance for aligned brands. Collaborate with MA Channel Access & Strategic Accounts FVPs and other Market Access leaders to evaluate impact of business decisions and engage in trade-off decisions. Build and cultivate influential relationships with key market influencers, including C-Suite and leaders across lines of business. Align internal GSK stakeholders to optimize customer engagement and realize the full value of GSK’s offerings. Develop a coaching culture, maximize performance and development of the team, and attract/diversify talent for the Market Access function. Establish key performance metrics for direct reports aligned with function plans and cross-department coordination within U.S. Commercial. Set the tone and culture of the team, model GSK expectations, manage change, identify and manage risks, allocate resources, and ensure compliance. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree 5+ years of oncology pharmaceutical experience (e.g., marketing, sales, forecasting, budgeting, or B2B) 10+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience 5+ years of first-line people management or current acting as a second-line manager Experience working with field management Ability to travel up to 70% Valid driver’s license Preferred Qualifications
MBA and/or advanced clinical/science degree or equivalent 3+ years of second-line leadership / account-focused team leadership 5+ years of recent and relevant oncology launch/field sales experience Experience expanding/building a sales team and in oncology product launches Experience with HCP-administered injectables and office-based administration Knowledge of evolving patient and payer landscape Proven coaching and people development track record Ability to inform, challenge and shape business strategies for product launches Financial acumen including understanding of gross profit, erosion, ASP, Net Cost Recovery, and pricing impact Experience in a highly matrixed environment with enterprise-wide influence Experience in coaching, development, retention, and promotion of others Understanding of Community Oncology, Specialty GPOs, Collaborative Groups and Oncology Organizations (e.g., COA) Why GSK
