This is a player coach type of role. Ideal for someone looking for a title promotion VP of Sales (player-coach) We’re seeking a driven, tech-savvy sales leader to join our team and lead our growth in the building trades / construction software market. This role is a mix of team leadership and hands-on sales — you’ll manage 2 Account Executives and carry your own quota, closing deals directly while building long-term relationships with clients. Why This Role Matters Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. Be a trusted advisor, helping clients solve real business challenges. Drive company growth by leading a high-performing team and influencing strategy through revenue success. What You’ll Do Lead & Coach : Guide 2 Account Executives to develop strong client relationships and hit their targets. Close Deals : Personally manage and close your own sales opportunities. Build Pipeline : Identify prospects, develop a target list, and proactively nurture relationships. Market Development : Understand client needs in the building trades market and turn them into actionable solutions. Board & Investor Interaction : Present sales performance and strategy, building credibility and trust. Client-Centric Focus : Make building long-term client relationships your top priority while serving as a trusted advisor internally and externally. What We’re Looking For Proven success selling in the building trades or construction software market. A proactive, results-driven mindset with a track record of closing mid-market and enterprise deals. Strong presence with C-level executives and contractors. Skilled at understanding client pain points and turning them into solutions. Experienced relationship builder who can open doors and expand accounts. Comfortable with HubSpot and modern sales tools. Able to balance strategy and execution, leading a team while driving your own sales. Seniority level
