Import Coordinator
to join our logistics team. This role is responsible for preparing and filing customs entries, ensuring full compliance with U.S. Customs and other regulatory agencies, and coordinating import shipments from origin to delivery. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has knowledge of HTS classification, and values precision and client service. Responsibilities
Prepare and file Customs entries in accordance with U.S. Customs regulations. Review and verify import documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, arrival notices, and other required paperwork. Ensure compliance with Partner Government Agencies (PGAs) such as FDA, USDA, FWS, etc. Manage and track import shipments from origin to final destination. Communicate daily with carriers, freight forwarders, warehouses, and clients to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Monitor estimated times of arrival (ETAs), customs holds, and coordinate final delivery appointments. Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation and shipment records in internal systems. Qualifications
Fluent in both English and Spanish required. Minimum 2 years of experience in import coordination. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word Solid knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and entry procedures. Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with CargoWise system preferred. Ability to work independently and within a team in a dynamic environment. Benefits
