C&S Companies is seeking a Construction Assistant Project Manager for our General Contracting division, focusing on Multifamily projects. This role involves assisting project management and field staff with project coordination and administration, including subcontract scope reviews, project submittals, RFIs, contract support, change orders, scheduling, progress tracking, and experience with e-construction systems like Procore and Autodesk.
Responsibilities
Assist project management and field staff with project coordination and communication. Maintain project schedules, manage submittals, RFIs, and procurement processes. Coordinate submittals and drawings with subcontractors and superintendents. Ensure subcontractor compliance with contract documents. Assist in scope development, bid packages, and subcontractor/supplier solicitations. Handle proposal change documents and assist in pricing and change requests. Compile and submit close-out documents and coordinate owner-required training. Manage meeting minutes, agendas, and logs within Procore systems. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Basic understanding of construction principles and practices. Ability to interpret construction plans and specifications. Knowledge of construction drawings, contract documents, and sequencing. Proficiency with Bluebeam, Procore, and Autodesk systems. Experience with Microsoft Project is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong work ethic and team orientation. Willingness to travel as needed. Required Education & Experience
At least 1 project experience in multifamily or mixed-use projects. Minimum of 3 years' construction administrative experience, preferably with a general contractor on multifamily projects. Experience with project control systems like Procore or Autodesk. Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management is a plus. Previous field or site-specific building experience is a plus. Estimated full compensation ranges from $95,000 to $110,000 per year, depending on experience, location, education, certifications, and skills.
