Market Leader Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Be empowered to meet the customer where they are and personalize their experience:

Elevate the in-store experience by modeling, supervising and coaching associates and support leaders on behaviors that achieve store goals and KPI; develop and communicate store strategies aligned to the company strategy; foster a growth mindset, promote a culture of innovation, and cultivate a focus on generating solution-oriented ideas; deliver financial plans to drive KPI performance and adjust to shifts in business; foster an environment of recognition that reinforces customer and business needs; resolve customer and associate feedback with urgency. Be committed to the customer having a consistent positive experience:

Strategically plan and direct the movement of merchandise responding to customer trends; communicate store-specific merchandise inventory recommendations to the Market Leader; oversee execution of sales floor standards, maintenance and operations; create a cohesive talent strategy; lead by example and ensure policy and procedures are followed. Bring the power of shoes to life through in-store and digital services:

Oversee inventory activities (freight receipt, product placement, markdowns, MOOS); manage omni-channel in-store activities (Charge/Send and Buy Online Pick Up In Store); use Store Visit Assessments to identify opportunities and implement timely action plans. Pause and put the customer first:

Manage all associate timekeeping to meet labor deliverables (scheduling, forecasting, payroll, etc.); build a diverse team; resolve associate and leadership relations matters; lead performance management and year-end reviews. Bring fun and energy to everything you do:

Recruit top talent and fill open positions promptly; develop a strategy for advanced learning and career development; facilitate store meetings; perform other duties as assigned by the Market Leader and/or Regional Director. Required Skills

Excellent customer service with professionalism, positivity, and enthusiasm. Ability to develop collaborative working relationships. Proven ability to recruit, onboard, coach, develop, motivate, and drive results through others. Ability to prioritize business functions that drive financial results. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to lead with tempo and hold the team accountable to time-bound expectations. Proven ability to lead an operationally sound business with little oversight. Availability to meet business needs including nights, weekends, holidays, and shifts outside traditional hours. Proficient in technology used for customer interactions (Register, register keyboard, iPhone, calculator). Ability to stand or walk for up to 100% of working time. Lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally to frequently; ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl regularly. Experience

Minimum of 4 years retail management experience. Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred. Seniorities
