Base pay range
$140,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr The Technical Professional Services Contract Manager will be responsible for leading the procurement, negotiation, and management of global contracts related to professional and technical services (e.g., consulting, engineering, implementation services, and managed services). This role will ensure contracts align with business objectives, protect the company from risk, drive compliance, and optimize costs. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional partners — including Legal, Finance, HR, IT, and regional business leaders — to establish strong vendor partnerships and ensure the effective delivery of services across the organization.
Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end sourcing process for technical and professional services engagements. Develop negotiation strategies and secure agreements with favorable terms, SLAs, and performance metrics. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, contractual obligations, and applicable regulations. Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to service delivery, intellectual property, data security, and vendor performance. Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance, and facilitate regular business reviews to ensure service quality and value. Partner with Finance to evaluate spend, create cost models, and implement strategies that drive efficiency and savings. Work closely with Legal and HR to ensure contracts reflect appropriate employment law, labor compliance, and confidentiality requirements. Support project teams by aligning vendor services with business requirements and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery. Maintain market intelligence on professional services providers, rate trends, and best practices in vendor governance. Contribute to global procurement strategies, category planning, and process improvements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, or related field (Master's or JD preferred). 5–8+ years of procurement or contract management experience, with emphasis on professional or technical services. Proven expertise in contract drafting, negotiation, and vendor management. Strong understanding of intellectual property, confidentiality, and regulatory considerations in professional services agreements. Excellent financial, analytical, and cost-management skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders across all levels. Experience working in a global, matrixed environment preferred.
