Overview AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment to ensure customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. You will join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate across AWS to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. This role focuses on leading the sourcing of integrated circuits and other sub-components for server platforms to meet growing infrastructure needs, leveraging knowledge of semiconductor supply chains and managing complex negotiations and cross-functional programs.
Key responsibilities
Develop and implement cable and connector sourcing strategies for AWS hardware infrastructure.
Understand interconnect industry and technology trends.
Identify key technology trends and drive supplier product roadmaps; execute on strategic initiatives in those products.
Negotiate and implement complex supplier agreements and contracts with cross-functional stakeholders.
Develop negotiation strategies to achieve business objectives and sustainable relationships with suppliers.
Provide weekly core-team updates, deliver executive-level updates monthly, and manage vendor escalations related to the category.
Present to senior leadership via written narratives.

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
5+ years of professional or military experience
Bachelor's degree
Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience in Electronics Sourcing or Procurement
Experience with managing or developing Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
Experience with Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA), Server Integration, Server Architecture, or related Electronics Assemblies

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on factors including market location and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company; equity, sign-on, and other benefits may be provided as part of a total package.
