Consultant | LEED GA | Building Renewables Development and Finance teams. We're partnered with a Private Equity-backed, utility-scale IPP with decades of energy development experience. They have a significant operational portfolio of wind, solar, storage, and thermal assets in the US, and positioned to execute on their active pipeline. They're one of a handful of IPPs committed to growing their development team right now, and are looking to bring on an experienced project developer capable of advancing projects in the trenches and managing a team of junior developers. Base pay range
$175,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr Additional compensation types
Annual Bonus What You’ll Do
Lead full-cycle project development of a portfolio of utility-scale solar and storage across the US Manage real estate, permitting, interconnection and offtake processes, collaborating with in-house finance, engineering, and business development teams Represent the firm in community engagement processes (i.e. landowner outreach, community relationship building, public hearings) Diligence M&A opportunities and integrate acquired assets into the company’s development pipeline Lead and manage a team of junior developers What You’ll Bring
7+ years of progressive project development experience, with success advancing utility-scale solar and storage projects through land campaigns, permitting, interconnection, to NTP Deep market knowledge of the challenges, opportunities, policies, and processes of multiple ISOs (WECC, ERCOT, PJM, NYISO, ISO-NE, SPP) Ability to manage direct reports, mentor junior developers and external consultants, and work cross-functionally with teams across the IPP structure Seniority level
