Business Development Representative (BDR) at Tripleseat — proactively identify and generate business leads through research, networking, and outbound prospecting. Engage potential customers via phone, email, and social media to qualify leads and support the sales team with effective campaigns. Location & Travel
Location: In-office in Boston, MA. Schedule: Monday–Thursday in the office, Friday remote. Travel: initial onboarding at our Concord, MA office, with occasional travel for company events. Responsibilities
Proactively identify and generate new business leads through research, networking, and outbound prospecting. Conduct high-volume phone, email, and social media outreach to engage with potential clients and qualify leads. Develop a deep understanding of Tripleseat’s product offerings, value propositions, and target market. Collaborate with the Marketing and Sales teams to develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies. Schedule and coordinate meetings and demos for the sales team with qualified leads. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and lead interactions in the CRM system. Provide regular feedback to the sales and marketing teams on lead quality and campaign effectiveness. Stay current with industry trends and best practices to improve lead generation efforts continually. Other related duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Sales Acumen: ability to generate new business leads through research, networking, and outbound prospecting. Product Knowledge: quickly learn and maintain a deep understanding of product offerings, value propositions, and target markets. Communication: strong interpersonal skills to articulate benefits and engage a diverse base of prospects. Time Management: manage multiple sales cadences with organization and attention to detail. Goal-oriented and Self-Motivated: proactive approach to achieving sales targets and improving performance. Team Collaboration: able to work independently and within teams. Adaptability and Industry Awareness: stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and competitors. Values Alignment: customer-focused attitude and ability to build cross-team rapport. Preferred Experience
SaaS or Hospitality Sales: 1 year of B2B sales, business development, or lead generation; quota attainment in software/SaaS sales. Hospitality Experience: experience in event management, restaurant or hotel operations. Understanding of Sales Processes: familiarity with sales strategies and collaboration with sales/marketing teams to execute campaigns. CRM Proficiency: experience using CRM systems to track sales activities and manage leads. Benefits
