You will be responsible for defending employers and insurance companies against workers' compensation claims, and work closely with clients to provide legal advice and representation, ensuring all cases are handled efficiently and effectively. Requirements Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school Active license to practice law in California 3+ years of experience, preferably in workers' compensation defense Responsibilities Defend employers and insurance companies against workers' compensation claims Provide legal advice and representation to clients Conduct legal research and draft legal documents Attend hearings and depositions Negotiate settlements Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical standards Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the case Manage a caseload of workers' compensation cases Stay up-to-date with changes in workers' compensation laws and regulations Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
