About the Role

A fast-growing cyber security company with approximately 50 employees is seeking its

first dedicated HR professional

to build and lead the human resources function while also overseeing office management responsibilities. This is a unique opportunity for a proactive and hands-on individual to create the foundation of HR processes, policies, and culture in a dynamic and innovative environment. Responsibilities

Human Resources Develop and implement core HR processes, policies, and systems across the employee lifecycle (recruiting, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, training, compliance). Serve as the primary point of contact for HR matters, providing guidance to leadership and employees. Partner with leadership to shape company culture, employee engagement, and organizational development. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Oversee benefits administration, payroll coordination, and HRIS implementation. Establish and manage employee records, reporting, and HR documentation. Office Management Manage daily office operations, including vendor relationships, supplies, and facilities. Coordinate scheduling for leadership and company-wide meetings or events. Support administrative needs across teams to ensure smooth operations. Assist in managing budgets for office operations and supporting vendor/service provider contracts. Qualifications

4+ years of HR experience, ideally including building processes from the ground up. Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment law compliance. Experience in fast-paced, high-growth companies preferred (tech or cyber security a plus). Proven ability to manage both strategic HR initiatives and tactical daily operations. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple responsibilities. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and partner with leadership. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; HR certification (PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP) preferred. Ideal Candidate
