Reporting to the Global Head of Employee Relations, you will be a critical member of the ER Centre of Excellence (CoE), supporting the delivery of our Employee and Industrial Relations (ER/IR) strategy, policy and workforce practices for Haleon. As a trusted partner, you will advise, guide and influence across the HR model, to maintain strong employee relations and contribute to the overall business strategy. Role Responsibilities
Promote positive employee and industrial relations across Haleon with specific support for the US business. Consult and collaborate with business partners, Compliance and Legal teams on complex employee relations issues. Partner in analysis and revision of people programmes, policies, and practices. Work with our business to input into engagement or cultural plans to improve ER/IR situation or address ER/IR challenges. Help analyse, diagnose, design, and revise people programs, policies, and practices to sustain positive employee relations, taking a lead on any required training. Conduct investigations into workplace issues and resolution of colleague “Speak-Up’s” including harassment, discrimination, code of conduct and other policy violations. Collaborate with HR, Legal and the business to research, benchmark, develop and ensure consistent application of US policies and practices. Ensure guidance and standard processes are monitored and maintained to ensure compliance and consistency, while leading and driving standardization and simplification where the opportunity exists. Stay informed about US and PR labor laws and regulations to ensure company compliance. Why you?
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years in a Human Resources role, with significant experience in ER/IR matters, preferably within FMCG and/or CPG multinational companies. Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations. Strong interpersonal skills and a style that builds robust trusting relationships with business partners and stakeholders. Commercial acumen with ability to think strategically as well as deliver operationally, both effectively and at pace to achieve results. Functional expertise which includes strategy and policy development, as well as execution. Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the business unit and organization. Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills. Demonstrates ability to take initiative, think and work independently, problem-solve, work effectively in teams, and multitask. Location: This role is based in Warren, NJ with minimum in-office requirements of 3 days per week.
