Full-time role, 40 hours/week Hourly rate: $23.00 Location: Mooresville ReStore, 121 Norman Station Blvd., Mooresville, NC Rotating schedule, including days, weekends, and some holidays Shifts are scheduled between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM based on store needs Why Join Habitat?

Assist in managing store operations through effective leadership of staff and volunteers, processing of merchandise, and excellent customer service. This is a key-holding manager position working directly with the ReStore Manager to ensure financial success, safety, and the day-to-day operations of the ReStore. Essential Functions
Monitor and track daily sales in comparison to budget; review P&L/GL with Store Manager monthly to evaluate expense control and profit Carry out managerial tasks including, but not limited to: opening/closing the store, team leadership/development, returns/exchanges, safe counts and money handling, shipment receiving/logging, inventory counts, and transaction research Maintain store operations and policies/procedures in the absence of the ReStore Manager Assist ReStore Manager with basic HR functions (interviewing, hiring, counseling, and training) Manage and lead the store team to achieve goals and objectives, training and developing team members with a positive leadership style Provide safe and prompt handling of merchandise and donations according to processes and procedures Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for employees, volunteers, and customers Ensure compliance with legal and safety requirements Consistently provide and monitor exceptional customer service standards Represent Habitat positively with donors, customers, and volunteers Ensure volunteers, donors, HIPs (Homeowners in Progress), and Community Service Workers have a meaningful experience Work collaboratively with Volunteer Services to acquire and retain long-term volunteers Collaborate effectively with internal departments (IT, HR, Volunteer Services, Accounting, etc.) Accurately complete reports and end-of-day documentation Maintain reliable attendance and adherence to schedule Maintain professional appearance and ReStore-appropriate attire Adhere to Habitat’s Code of Conduct and policies Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle (for occasional business use) Complete other Habitat-related tasks as assigned Qualifications
Knowledge/Skills Required
3+ years of management and customer service experience required Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and engage teams Experience with financial tracking and basic HR functions Experience with MS Office programs and POS systems Strong verbal and written communication skills Basic math skills Ability to multi-task, show initiative, and support Habitat’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to move merchandise throughout the store and perform repetitive movements Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted and 70 lbs. with assistance Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, Saturdays, and holidays Ability to obtain Forklift Certification and regularly operate a forklift (must be able to climb steps to forklift cab) Internal Interactions
