Work under the framework of a Data Trust Analytic Team within JHHS Decision Support, supporting 6 hospitals. Perform data analytics and support performance measures, ongoing measurement, data collection, reporting, data visualizations, and information dissemination related to the Cost Accounting and Budgeting System (currently EPSi through FY27; moving to StrataJazz for FY28 in conjunction with the move to a new ERP – Workday). Manage patient data flows from Epic and structure the strategic design and maintenance of business intelligence applications (currently transitioning from Tableau to Power BI). Identify, research, and resolve technical problems; ensure BI applications enhance clinical and business decision-making capabilities. Contribute to moderately complex aspects of projects; work independently and collaboratively with the Decision Support development team. Engage in data exploration with a variety of BI tools, requiring knowledge of relational database structures. Knowledge of StrataJazz Integrated Analytics & Reporting is required for this upgraded position. Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree required; field of Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Healthcare, or equivalent preferred. Work Experience:
4–7 years of related experience in health care, including a minimum of 3 years of data analytics experience. Knowledge:
Knowledge of project and information management; analytical ability to gather data, perform transformation, perform complex analysis, and solve business and technical problems; advanced knowledge of medical terminology and clinical informatics; expert proficiency with BI techniques & tools for transforming raw data into meaningful information; knowledge of relational databases and EMR data structure; strong problem-solving and process analysis skills. Prior experience with StrataJazz is essential. Salary Range:
