Title: Sanctions Compliance Specialist V
Location: Cupertino, CA - hybrid – but open to remote, must work PST
Pay: $160-$164/hr on W2
Contract: W2; 12 months
Client: Fortune 500 Company
Key Qualifications
Strong working knowledge of the Export Administration Regulations (category 3, 4, and 5), in particular semiconductors and Artificial Intelligence. Experience with deemed export review, and submission of IVLs. Experience with both h/w and s/w product, part and component classifications. Familiarity with international regulations is a plus. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Prefer 8 years of general export compliance experience. Mac and OS X proficiency is a must. Education and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience Experience in reviews, investigation, and resolution of sanctions, money laundering, or terrorist financing issues. Experience using SAP GTS screening system and Accuity’s Compliance Link Excellent analytical and problem-solving techniques. Ability to apply sound ethical judgement Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Expertise and experience in OFAC/Sanctions Compliance laws and regulations Must be a self-starter, flexible, innovative, and adaptive Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with company personnel Ability to meet aggressive timelines and in a compliance-focused environment Proficiency in Client’s applications (Numbers, Pages, and Keynote) and MS Office applications (Excel and Word) Experience and knowledge of U.S. Export Administration Regulations is a plus Benefits Info
