This position is crucial to the success of our retail operations. Customer Service Representatives engage with both wholesale and retail customers to identify their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend suitable solutions. In this role, you'll be responsible for promptly resolving customer concerns to ensure maximum satisfaction and maintaining current knowledge of product features. You will also uphold the high visual and quality standards of our products and store, all while striving to meet the sales goals. Your job duties will involve regular interaction with customers, including minors, and provide access to cash and electronic equipment. Therefore, a criminal history review is necessary to ensure the safety of our customers, staff, and the overall reputation of the business. Key Responsibilities Include: Deliver exceptional customer satisfaction through top-notch sales service. Assist customers both in-person and over the phone to determine their needs and recommend suitable products. Build strong relationships with wholesale and retail customers. Accurately process sales transactions in compliance with policies and procedures. Consistently achieve sales objectives monthly, quarterly, and annually. Maintain accurate work order files and formulas. Select appropriate products from the floor or warehouse. Tint and mix products according to customer specifications. Restock shelves and create engaging displays. Clean and maintain store equipment. Assist with delivery logistics, as needed. Ensure assigned areas are well-stocked and visually appealing. Stay informed on product offerings to discuss options with customers. Adhere to inventory management procedures. Provide suggestions for sales improvement. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. Must be legally authorized to work without sponsorship. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally. Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends. Preferred Qualifications: Valid, unrestricted Driver's License. High School diploma or GED. One (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role. Previous experience selling paint or related products. Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment. Ability to communicate effectively in more than one language, especially Spanish.
