RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Assistant Director of Patient Care for Medical Unit III at the New Brunswick campus. Medical Unit III is a busy 26-bed unit with telemetry and medical-surgical patients. Types of patients include cardiac, sepsis, dialysis, heart failure, and respiratory failure patients. Responsibilities

Provides leadership and direction to fulfill the goals and objectives of the unit/organization. Effectively communicates information to staff, utilizes resources, and manages staff and services. Assists the Director with the daily operations of the unit and delegated responsibilities. Will be assigned 50 percent of patient care responsibilities. Collaboratively prepares and maintains staff schedule and payroll. Effectively collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and drives staff accountability. Qualifications

Required: BSN required At least 3 - 5 years of nursing experience required Experience in Med Surg and/or Telemetry required Preferred: MSN highly preferred Previous experience as a nursing director is preferred Certifications and Licenses Required: BLS and ACLS certification Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License Scheduling
