Associate Director, Immunology Rheum
for the
New England
district (NY, ME, MA, NH, RI, CT).
PECS is committed to setting the standard on Patient Experience (Px), building more personalized, seamless, and supportive experiences to help patients start and stay on treatments across the portfolio.
Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, coach, develop, and retain a diverse and talented team who are competent in the JJIM Immunology business, the healthcare marketplace, and in access & fulfillment.
Direct a regionally aligned team of up to 10 direct reports to improve access & fulfillment related impact for JJIM prescribed patients starting or staying on therapy.
Develop long- and short-term strategic plans for the team and manage seamless execution of related tactics in a fast-paced environment.
Establish district vision, foster team culture, manage FRM performance, build customer relationships, and achieve team goals.
Identify and address access & fulfillment obstacles including knowledge of Buy & Bill, Medical Benefit and Assignment Of Benefit (AOB), specialty pharmacy, pharmacy benefit, and site of care.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners (e.g., Sales District Managers, SCG, Franchise Marketing, Brand) and perform field work with minimal supervision.
Manage and allocate budget in alignment with team objectives.
Other duties as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA or related graduate degree preferred.
Knowledge of reimbursement principles including pharmacy and medical benefit/buy & bill, coding, billing, prior authorization, and appeals processes.
Demonstrated capabilities and performance success in prior roles.
A valid Driver's License in one of the 50 United States.
Residence within the geography or willingness to relocate.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or other advanced degree/relevant certifications preferred.
Ability to navigate high-profile, complex business circumstances and develop/executing customer-oriented strategies.
Cross-functional collaboration in a matrix environment; excellent written and verbal communication; strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
Experience in the Immunology space and 3+ years of direct people management/leadership.
Minimum of 8 years healthcare business-related experience; concentration in biopharmaceutical market access, field reimbursement, or managed markets preferred.
This role involves travel up to 75% of the time.
Compensation & Benefits The anticipated base pay range for this position is $120,000 to $207,000. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Eligible for an annual performance bonus based on company and individual performance. Bonuses are discretionary.
