Job Description
Light On Anxiety is looking to hire a detail-oriented and energetic Billing and Contracting Manager for our dynamic company. This individual is responsible for managing and executing the billing and credentialing operations for Light On Anxiety. The Billing and Contracting Manager will work collaboratively with operational and financial leadership to design and implement billing and credentialing operations, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain healthy revenue cycle management.
Job Responsibilities
Billing & Revenue Cycle Management Manage and execute the operations of the billing department to ensure healthy revenue cycle management and excellence in patient experience Manage and enforce patient billing policies, including sliding scale, collections and cancellation policies Perform monthly, quarterly and annual auditing for inaccurate or unresolved billing, claim issues or patterns, and patient collections Submit primary and secondary claims to insurance partners in a timely and accurate manner Post payments from insurance partners and reconcile payment data Monitor and resolve claim rejections and denials Monitor and resolve outstanding patient balances and write-offs Verify and document patients’ insurance coverage and eligibility for services Answer incoming customer calls, emails and chat inquiries regarding billing questions and concerns
Credentialing & Payor Relationships
Manage credentialing and re-credentialing of providers with payor partners Assist with negotiations and re-negotiations of payer contracts to secure competitive reimbursement rates and favorable terms Monitor payor performance and compliance with contractual agreements Serve as primary payor contact, including cultivating and maintaining positive and productive relationships with payor representatives Perform monthly, quarterly and annual auditing for inaccurate or incomplete provider credentialing
Department Leadership
Develop, implement and continuously improve billing, RCM and credentialing procedures and processes Prepare, analyze and present weekly, monthly and annual reports on KPIs Ensure all activities of billing and credentialing operations are conducted in compliance with Federal, State and payor regulations, guidelines and requirements, including HIPAA and CPT/ICD-10 coding Actively seek continuing education to remain informed of federal, state and payor rules and regulations, as well as trends, impacting coding, billing and credentialing operations Partner with Finance to supervise and train billing personnel Other duties as assigned
