Reports to : Store Manager and/or Co-Manager
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Be empowered to meet the customer where they are and personalize their experience:
Elevate in-store experience by modeling Customer Experience Leader (CEL) behaviors and coaching associate behaviors to achieve store goals and KPI. Respond to customer and associate requests or feedback with urgency.
Maintain store standards and complete daily open/close tasks including cleaning, recovery, and maintenance.
Partner with the Store Manager to create long-term strategic plans and communicate action plans with the leadership team.
Be committed to the customer having a consistent positive experience:
Improve metric-based goals by reviewing progress and communicating trends to the Store Manager/Market Leader.
Increase sales by leveraging inventory reports to maximize productivity and merchandise presentations.
Oversee processes related to audits, donations, transfers, mismates, damages, etc.
Ensure policy and procedures are followed in daily operations with the Store Manager.
Bring the power of shoes to life by leveraging in-store and digital services:
Set clear expectations and follow up on all inventory activities including freight receipt, product placement, markdowns, and MOOS.
Lead omni-channel activities in-store (e.g., Charge/Send and Buy Online Pick Up In Store).
Submit supply needs to ensure successful operations across the business.
Be responsible to pause and put the customer first:
Ensure a safe environment for customers and associates; verify equipment is in good operating condition.
Equip associates to resolve customer concerns and escalate to the Store Manager when needed.
Support labor planning with scheduling, forecasting, payroll considerations, and related activities.
Assist Store Manager with associate relations and performance reviews, providing feedback for Leads and Supervisors.
Bring fun and energy to everything you do:
Recognize the store team using company tools.
Develop the store team through training, coaching, and motivation.
Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding Store Supervisors, Store Leads, and Store Associates.
Delegate and perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or Co-Manager.
Required Skills
Excellent customer service with professionalism, positivity, and enthusiasm.
Ability to develop collaborative working relationships; strong verbal and written communication.
Ability to move with tempo and hold teams accountable to meet time-bound expectations.
Availability to meet business needs including nights, weekends, holidays, and non-traditional hours.
Proficient in using technology for customer interactions (Register, devices, etc.).
Ability to stand or walk up to 100% of working time; lift up to 50 pounds occasionally to frequently; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling.
Experience
Minimum 2 years management experience.
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
