We are seeking a Product Owner to help define the strategy and provide technical expertise for all current and future Crew Resources technology. The Product Owner will work across Crew Resources, Flight Ops, In-Flight Service, and IT to ensure development requests are well understood, gain cross-divisional consensus on priorities, and ensure deliverables meet business needs. This role requires managing multiple projects, effective communication, and understanding the crew member experience. What You Will Do (Responsibilities)

Oversee one of many products within the organization (e.g., Legalities, Scheduling, Crew Tracking, Training, Payroll, Planning/Bidding). Own end-to-end product responsibilities: understand the business problem, identify stakeholder needs, and develop optimal solutions. Collaborate with one or more IT development squads to create and maintain the backlog of work, ensuring the product aligns with business and customer stakeholder needs. Prepare internal communications, including ad hoc reports, executive summaries, and formal presentations to senior leaders. Develop subject matter expertise for crew-related data and systems to inform optimal design and development. Build and maintain an executable product roadmap balancing business value, funding, dependencies, and development complexity to guide current and future development. Lead phases of project management, including requirements gathering, development prioritization, and implementation strategies. Prioritize product backlog, projects, and initiatives across multiple stakeholder groups to ensure IT focuses on the right initiatives across DBMS, OSS, SAP, IFS Nova, and Crew360. Write functional user stories and acceptance criteria for smooth handoffs to development. Participate in Agile ceremonies with development teams to provide direction and drive progress. Model Delta’s Rules of the Road and core values. Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures. What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)

Minimum 2 years of experience with Crew and/or IT Project/Product Ownership. Strong verbal communication: present ideas succinctly and persuasively; demonstrate logical thinking when responding to questions or providing alternative solutions. Ability to develop presentations with visuals for executive audiences and to influence outcomes. Experience translating a business vision into written requirements. Track record of managing products or complex projects successfully. Ability to lead and influence others responsible for deliverables; exhibit curiosity and creative problem-solving. Success in understanding and managing complex processes. Willingness to become the subject matter expert for your product and take ownership for its development and performance. Self-starter able to work with diverse groups in a time-sensitive, team environment with minimal supervision. Results-oriented with attention to detail and the ability to meet or exceed deadlines. Awareness of user experience best practices and new technology trends. Must be performing satisfactorily in current position (if transferring internally). Proactive about safety, security of self and data; embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles. Educational requirement: high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. Is at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications
