Job Description:

The NOC Manager will lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Network Operations Center (NOC) responsible for monitoring, operating, and maintaining the mobile network infrastructure.

The NOC Manager will oversee a team of NOC engineers/analysts, manage escalation processes, coordinate with field operations and vendors, and implement best practices for incident, problem, and change management.

Operations & Monitoring:

Oversee 24×7 monitoring of the mobile network (RAN, Core, IMS, EPC/5 IP/Transport). Ensure proactive detection, analysis, and resolution of network incidents and performance issues. Establish network KPIs, alarms, thresholds, and reporting mechanisms.

Team Management:

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of NOC engineers and shift leads. Create staffing plans, shift rosters, and ensure coverage for continuous operations. Conduct regular training on tools, procedures, and emerging technologies.

Incident & Problem Management:

Manage incident response and escalation to field teams, vendors (e.g., Nokia, Ericsson, Huawei), and carriers (AT&T, Verizon, etc.). Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures. Coordinate war rooms for critical outages and ensure executive stakeholders are updated.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

12 years of experience in mobile network operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership/managerial role.

Strong knowledge of 4G LTE, 5G NR, IMS/VoLTE, EPC/5 IP/MPLS transport, and OSS/NMS tools.

Proven experience with incident, problem, and change management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).

Familiarity with network monitoring tools (NetAct, MantaRay, DCAP, OSS, NMS, Nagios, SolarWinds, etc.).
