Warehouse Manager – Medline Industries - Transportation & Operations, Richmond Hill, GA Job Summary: Support the Director of Operations at the distribution center by directing warehouse activities and overseeing all aspects of daily production and order fulfillment. Responsibilities
Establish operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current. Lead and measure daily processes to ensure order fulfillment and production are completed with excellence. Collaborate with the Director of Operations to resolve daily challenges and ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment for operations handling 2,200 to 10,000 lines per day (or 136K to 1.2M in revenue daily). Adhere to and manage transactions as the Certified Designated Representative (CDR) when applicable and ensure procedures and recordkeeping comply with relevant regulations (including State of Florida Pharmacy Practice Act where applicable). Support all human resource processes at the local facility, including sourcing and staffing, performance management, compensation administration when necessary, and training and development; promote positive employee relations. Manage expenses to ensure efficient use of financial resources; prepare work orders for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment. Schedule, track, and expedite freight to inter-company and contract distributors; work with carriers to resolve freight discrepancies. Monitor inventory movement from trailer to racks to shipping; oversee Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI). Support local sales representatives and leadership to deliver outstanding customer service; respond to service failures and customer concerns; assist in resolving customer complaints as registered through OSI processes. Maintain safety and hygiene standards; guide safety committee and ensure proper housekeeping practices. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree preferred; relevant work experience accepted in lieu of degree. 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience with demonstrated abilities supporting personnel and warehouse employees; preferred 5 years in a distribution center environment. Certification as a CDR by the State of Florida when applicable. Effective communication skills in group and individual settings; strong writing skills and active listening; approachable demeanor. Ability to operate effectively in multicultural environments; high sense of urgency, energy, and stamina; capacity to handle multiple priorities and time demands. High personal integrity and ability to navigate complex situations with multiple decision-makers; experience in customer relations and leading positive employee relations. Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $87,360.00 – $131,040.00 annually. Role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Actual salary varies based on location, education, experience, skills, and abilities.
