Job Description

As a Branch Operations Lead in a Chase Branch, you'll be at the heart of our branch operations, working closely with the Branch Manager, branch employees, and our team of experts. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our clients' financial transactions are handled with precision and care, all while adhering to our policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

A typical day will involve assisting clients with their transactions, introducing clients to self-service options, and building lasting relationships. You will also review branch operations, keeping the branch team informed about the latest policies and procedures. Your leadership will help the branch meet and exceed control expectations and set a positive tone for all visitors.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Branch Manager to create a welcoming and vibrant branch environment, delivering an exceptional client experience.

Greet clients, assist with transactions, manage lobby flow, and schedule meetings to build trusted relationships.

Engage clients with clear, polite communication to understand needs and anticipate requests while guiding them through the queue.

Lead branch operations, including managing cash devices (cash vault and ATM) and resolving client issues with accuracy and adherence to bank policies.

Introduce clients to the branch team and collaborate to meet specialized financial needs, elevating the client experience.

Promote self-service options to simplify banking and provide 24/7 access to accounts.

Support all aspects of branch operations with a focus on loss control, compliance, and audits to ensure smooth and secure operations.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

Commitment to following policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.

Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized while juggling multiple tasks.

Demonstrated leadership and operational proficiency with a focus on transaction accuracy.

Ability to educate and engage the branch team and partners, keeping everyone informed.

Excellent relationship-building and client-engagement skills, with a readiness to refer clients to experts when needed.

1+ years of retail banking experience.

High school diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent.

Ability to work branch hours including weekends and evenings.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

6+ months of Associate Banker (Teller) experience.

College degree or military equivalent.

Training and Travel Requirement

Complete the Branch Operations Lead Training Program before placement as Branch Operations Lead.

Travel as required for in-person training and meetings.
