The Regulatory Manager

is responsible for ensuring Nestlé Health Science products fully comply with applicable US regulations and internal Nestlé policies. Key areas include product composition, labels and related communications. The role covers regulatory mastery for NHSc products in the US across dietary supplements, conventional foods, and medical foods, and provides leadership to cross-functional teams on recipe compliance, labeling, claims substantiation, ingredient qualification (e.g., GRAS, NDI), and nutrition science. The position develops and implements regulatory strategies to support innovation projects and anticipates regulatory developments affecting current portfolios and future pipelines. Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance : Ensure full regulatory compliance with US regulations and internal Nestlé policies for product composition, advertising, labeling, website, and all communications. Work with other departments to review and analyze health/structure/function claims and ingredient qualification (e.g., GRAS, NDI). Communicate regulatory concerns to the business and ensure strategies are developed and implemented. Provide regulatory interpretation and guidance to cross-functional teams. Advise on regulatory aspects of factory controls, testing, product variances, and compliance criteria. Innovation and Renovation : Partner with Marketing and Product Development to identify opportunities for innovative product claims and support the business strategy; provide regulatory review of I&R concepts and maintain regulatory strategy for development stages. Regulatory Environment : Participate in setting/exec advocacy strategies aligned with company objectives. Monitor consumer trends and regulatory landscape to anticipate developments. Support strategies to improve regulatory and scientific affairs efficiency. Foundation : Foster regulatory knowledge, provide training, development, and coaching to the regulatory team. Experience and Education

Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, or related discipline required; advanced degree (Masters or RD or similar) a plus. 5+ years of experience in the food and/or dietary supplements regulatory environment with full expertise in regulatory compliance (product composition; DSHEA; ingredient qualification such as GRAS/NDI; labeling; health/structure-function claims; overall product communications). Exposure to industry groups, governmental authorities (e.g., FDA), and scientific societies. Ability to manage high-complexity projects and prioritize actions pragmatically. Immediate requirements do not include direct people management, but this is a possible development opportunity. Availability for occasional national and international travel. The approximate pay range for this position is $110,000.00 to $140,000.00. Final compensation may vary based on knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location.
