Summary: Join a high-impact national defense initiative as a

Senior Systems Engineer

supporting the

Dark Eagle - Long Range Hypersonic Weapon

program. This role provides advanced technical, engineering, and advisory support to the Lead Systems Engineer in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment. You will be instrumental in shaping the systems engineering framework for one of the Army's most strategic weapons programs.

Duties:

Serve as a senior technical advisor to the Lead Systems Engineer. Provide expert-level systems engineering support across the program lifecycle. Identify, analyze, and document system design, interface, and verification/validation requirements. Develop and maintain systems engineering documentation to support integration, testing, and programmatic activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the Dark Eagle program. Lead or support Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs), including action tracking and coordination. Present complex technical concepts and findings to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, etc.). Minimum of 7 years of experience in systems engineering or related technical discipline. Demonstrated expertise in system design, interface definition, and verification/validation processes. Familiarity with missile and weapon system components, interfaces, and performance characteristics. Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly. Proven ability to work independently in a dynamic, high-tempo environment. Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain/maintain Top Secret clearance.

Desired Qualifications:

Master's degree in a STEM field. 12+ years of experience in systems engineering or related work. Working knowledge of

Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)

and associated tools (e.g., Cameo, MagicDraw, SysML). Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) weapon systems or hypersonic technologies. Technical Competencies & Tools:
