Purpose
Support Divergent’s mission to revolutionize industrial additive manufacturing with DAPS. This role verifies that structural components and systems meet required safety and performance standards, contributing to the success of engineering projects. The Role
Test Planning, Coordination and Execution Responsible for validation team daily activities and operations. Schedule and prioritize testing activities based on project deadlines and resources. Manage test processes and Jira tickets, assign tasks to team members. Develop and implement testing protocols for component and system validation. Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for assigned projects and tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures. Team Management Develop training plans for all team members. Initiate cross training of team members. Manage Timecards and PTO requests. Quality Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and reproducibility of test results. Ensure compliance with industry standards and company requirements. Implement corrective actions for test failures or inconsistencies. Responsible for equipment calibrations and maintenance to meet quality standards. Data Analysis and Reporting Analyze test data to evaluate DAPS product performance. Prepare detailed reports summarizing test results, methodologies, and conclusions. Present findings to stakeholders and customers. Budgeting and Resource Management Manage the operational budget, headcount and investments. Ensure materials, consumables and equipment and service items are readily available. Health and Safety Address Environmental, Health, and Safety issues. React and implement corrective actions where necessary. Innovation and Continuous Improvement Create incentives to improve quality of work and overall throughput. Research and implement new testing methods and technologies. Collaborate with R&D teams to improve structures and processes based on outcomes. Client and Stakeholder Communication Support customer meetings and create presentations/proposals. Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and other departments to provide updates on testing progress. Address any concerns related to material testing and offer technical support. Basic Qualifications
Ability to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field 7+ years of experience in a test and validation environment 1-3 years of experience leading and managing a team Proficiency in using Siemens NX and Team Center Basic experience with data acquisition systems and data processing Hands-on experience with test setup and execution Excellent interpersonal skills with a proactive, self-motivated approach to workload management and meeting tight deadlines Preferred Qualifications
Experience with aerospace and defense projects Familiar with MIL-STD specifications (e.g., MIL-STD-810H, MIL-DTL-901E) Strong understanding of vehicle systems, subsystems, and requirements Knowledge of fluid and gas systems Factory and office environment Work near moving mechanical parts (about 30% of time) Compensation
At Divergent, our pay range is based on the level of the job. For this role, we will consider candidates at levels M06 - M07 as evaluated through our interview process. Pay Range $142,900 - $227,950 USD What We Offer: Holistic Compensation Package:
