The Opportunity The Clinical Director designs and supervises the provision of evidence-based mental health services and programs for children with autism spectrum disorders and/or similar developmental disabilities in response to physician recommendations in home, school and/or other natural settings.

Duties & Responsibilities

Independently conduct regular home visits for the assigned caseload to provide individualized parent education, supervise the implementation of the program, monitor documentation, and provide in-field training to supervisees.

Educate families on maintaining a consistent schedule with clinically appropriate hours.

Efficiently and effectively communicate CSD’s policies to families.

Complete necessary documentation including: treatment plans, data sheets, behavioral support plans, progress reports, discharge reports, and other site-related documents.

Monitor daily direct service appointments for completion and note accuracy; manage cancellations by families or behavior specialists.

Maintain appropriate progress notes for supervision hours and input supervision hours into CSD’s billing program.

Write, sign and submit progress reports to funding sources by established deadlines and maintain a database of deadlines for assigned caseload.

Meet daily and monthly billable hours goals as set by CSD.

Provide clinical support and training to the team of Clinical Leaders and Behavior Specialists, including 1:1 and group meetings, trainings, and supervision.

Evaluate clinical performance of supervisees and address concerns with the Regional Director.

Ensure clinical responsibilities of supervisees are defined and understood; supervise and guide staff through clinical processes including assessments, monthly session plans, and data collection.

Maintain communications with Human Resources and the Regional Director regarding administrative concerns involving clients and staff.

Stay current with new research and developments related to autism and related fields; attend meetings and trainings as requested.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements Experience & Qualifications

Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, childhood development, childhood education, special education, pediatric therapy (physical, occupational, or speech therapy), or related field

BCBA Credential Required

Two years of related professional experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders and/or other related developmental disabilities in a multi-disciplinary team setting

Proven successful experience with a full ABA caseload

Knowledge of ABA methodologies and related approaches (ESDM, TEACCH, PECS, PRT)

Knowledge of School Continuum of Services and IEPs

Knowledge of community resources and agencies serving children

Ability to travel to multiple program service areas; valid driver license and insurance required

Effective written and verbal communication; bilingual ability preferred

Ability to maintain confidentiality and implement policies and regulations

Computer/word processing skills

Physical Requirements

Constant visual activity and computer use; physical ability to sit, stand, and move as needed

Frequent sitting and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds

Occasional driving and travel between sites

Salary 90,000 to 100,000 plus incentives and stipends
