Courses may be taught in an array of teaching modalities: MDC In-Person, MDC Live (Learning Interactively in a Virtual Environment), MDC Online (online delivery) and Blended Classes. In accordance with Rule 6A-14.064, F.A.C., College Credit Dual Enrollment Courses offered at secondary school locations, this position requires all candidates be employed by an authorized MDC Dual Enrollment secondary school partner. Candidates must meet Miami Dade College Faculty Credential Statement faculty teaching qualifications, including SACSCOC’s Principles of Accreditation minimum criteria: A Master’s degree in the teaching discipline of the assigned course(s) or a Master’s degree and at least 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline of the assigned course(s). Provides classroom instruction Participates in curriculum development and revision Assess the curriculum against state and national standards Supervises field experiences and/or inernship Serves as a resource for faculty members and other program areas Serves on school, campus and College committees Recruits and advises Criminal Justice Students Participates in grant writing and acquisition of external funding for the School of Justice Performs other duties as assigned What you need to succeed
