Compensation: $90,000 – $100,000/year + bonus. Location: Staten Island, NY. Schedule: Monday to Friday (Full-Time). Drive coastal resiliency and structural projects as a BIM Designer (CAD Software) with our client in Staten Island, NY. You will manage AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit models, produce construction documents, and coordinate BIM workflows across disciplines. This role is ideal for a CAD/BIM professional experienced in civil, structural, and coastal resiliency design. Responsibilities
Model Development: Create and maintain AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit models for civil, structural, and coastal resiliency projects. Construction Documentation: Produce accurate drawings, technical details, and 3D visualizations to support project execution. BIM Coordination: Manage interdisciplinary BIM workflows, facilitate clash detection, and support model-based design reviews. Project Support: Assist with RFIs, submittals, and construction documentation to ensure timely responses and project continuity. Standards & Compliance: Ensure all models and drawings meet project BIM standards, QA/QC requirements, and client specifications. Qualifications
Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Design Technology, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 5+ years using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit for BIM modeling, with a strong portfolio in civil, structural, or coastal resiliency projects. Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D, with familiarity in clash detection tools and construction documentation workflows. Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of civil and structural design principles, coastal resiliency, construction detailing, and site development. Skills & Attributes: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate with engineers, architects, and contractors while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
