Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes that support our data integration and analytics initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and proficiency in ETL tools and scripting languages. Primary Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize ETL workflows to extract data from various sources, transform it according to business rules, and load it into target systems (e.g., data warehouses, data lakes). Help implement new projects and maintain effective awareness of all production activities according to required standards and provide support to all existing applications. Maintain documentation of ETL processes, data flows, and technical specifications. Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data quality and integrity. Perform root cause analysis to help resolve production issues. Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes to ensure timely and accurate data delivery. Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies. Required Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of proven experience with IBM DataStage Experience working with both server and parallel jobs within DataStage Strong SQL skills and experience with AQT Experience with scripting languages like Python or Shell for automation and data manipulation Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data integration best practices Strong proficiency with database technologies such as Oracle, DB2, SQL, and variation among popular databases Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Business Objects Familiarity with Agile development methodologies General knowledge in the Wealth and Asset Management industry Seniority level
