The Role
As the sixth member of our engineering team, your work will serve as the foundation for the Prosper Health telehealth platform for years to come.
You’ll write TypeScript across the stack, use healthcare APIs, tackle messy healthcare problems, and influence product direction. You’ll work closely with our Head of Engineering, our engineering team, product designer, the founding team, clinical providers, and clients. What types of things you’ll work on: Clinician tooling – provide the tech stack so clinicians can deliver best-in-class care that is driven by data and metrics. AI appointment transcript analysis – improve client care and automatically follow up on pressing issues. Easy client intake – the client experience should be seamless, and clients should only talk to a human if they want to. Automatic cost estimates for clients – pricing transparency and absence of surprise bills. Iterating on our CI/CD pipeline, observability tools, and creating a delightful developer experience – investing in best-in-class tools for productivity and product reliability. Supabase for Postgres, auth, and storage Experience building successful software, independently or as part of a small team / early-stage startup Excited by an early stage environment and being one of the first engineering employees Scrappy, self-directed, detail oriented, and with strong communication skills Basic proficiency with React or a similar frontend framework Comfortable working across the stack In-person 2-4 days per week in our Chelsea (NYC) office preferred but open to virtual for the right candidate 3+ years of experience, ideally with some experience at a startup Process
