Responsibilities
Provide AI-powered guidance on this job and related exclusive features.
Coordinate direct messaging with the job poster from Centraprise.
Understand and apply network engineering concepts including networking protocols and health monitoring.
Assess and leverage WAN technologies (MPLS, Metro Ethernet, SD-WAN, VPNs, Leased Lines, LTE/5G backup).
Configure and troubleshoot routing and switching (static/dynamic routing, VLANs, STP, trunking).
Work with firewall and security concepts (Palo Alto, ACLs, VPN security; IDS/IPS basics).
Utilize SD-WAN solutions (Cisco Viptela, Meraki SD-WAN) and monitoring/troubleshooting tools (Datadog, ThousandEyes, Nagios, StealthWatch).
Manage traffic and load balancing (Round Robin, Least Connections, Weighted Least Response Time) and implement Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB).
Handle SSL offloading, re-encryption, and SSL bridging as part of security connectivity.
Qualifications
Experience with network security engineering roles and related technologies.
Familiarity with firewall and security tooling, VPNs, and cloud/network monitoring platforms.
Knowledge of load balancing, SSL offloading, and GSLB concepts.
