The Senior System Administrator is the operational backbone of our hybrid infrastructure. You will own day-to-day system integrity while supplying audit-ready evidence for our HITRUST r2 and SOC 2 Type 2 programs. Success in this role keeps our press floor humming, our e-commerce sites fast, and our compliance posture rock-solid. ________________________________________ Responsibilities
Kaseya Suite & Security Tooling – Administer and fine-tune Unitrends backups, Kaseya One User, Kaseya Pro User, Vonahi, Vulscan, and ND Pro; analyze findings and coordinate remediation with our MSP. MSP & Vendor Liaison – Serve as the on-site escalation point for our managed-services partner, ensuring ticket SLAs, reporting accuracy, and continuous process improvement. GRC & Compliance Support – Collect and map evidence in Drata (or equivalent) to maintain HITRUST r2 and SOC 2 controls; assist with risk assessments, corrective-action plans, and external audits. SOC / NOC Review – Validate runbooks, monitor SIEM dashboards, and confirm backups, DR, and uptime SLAs are met daily. Infrastructure Hardening – Enforce AD/Azure AD standards (password, MFA, privileged access); maintain SonicWall firewall rules, IPS, and VPNs; keep VLAN design, Cisco Meraki, and ancillary switches healthy and documented. Unified Communications – Administer Zoom Phone call flows and auto attendants; deploy and maintain Neat Bar Pro and conference-room AV gear, publishing SOPs for executives. Automation & Scripting – Use PowerShell/Bash/Python to remove toil, document outcomes, and share knowledge across the team. Mentorship & Escalation – Act as tier-3 support and coach junior analysts on best practices, security hygiene, and customer-first troubleshooting. ________________________________________ Required Qualifications
Experience – 5-7 years administering Windows and hybrid (on-prem/cloud) environments, including 3+ years working closely with an MSP/MSSP. Hands-on with the Kaseya products listed above and participation in at least one HITRUST r2 or SOC 2 Type 2 audit cycle. Technical Skill Set – o AD / Azure AD, SonicWall firewalls, Cisco Meraki switching o Zoom Phone administration and conference-room AV (Neat Bar Pro) o Scripting (PowerShell preferred) and documentation in Confluence or similar Certifications (nice to have) – Kaseya Certified Administrator, CompTIA Security+, SonicWall SNSA, CCNA, HITRUST CCSFP. Soft Skills – Exceptional communication, customer empathy, calm under pressure, and a bias for action. ________________________________________ Seniority level
