AWS is a leader in Cloud Computing, providing IT infrastructure used by hundreds of thousands of developers and businesses worldwide. Description Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an AWS Specialist Solutions Architect (SSA) for Container Services. As an SSA, you will provide technical expertise to help grow the adoption of AWS Container Services, including Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service, Amazon Elastic Container Registry, and AWS App Mesh. You will work with U.S. Federal customers to develop bespoke solutions using AWS Container Services and other AWS technologies. Key Responsibilities Help U.S. Federal Civilian Government organizations implement innovative cloud computing solutions and solve technical problems. Own technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects. Define implementation architectures, respond to RFPs, and develop expertise in AWS technologies. Represent the voice of the customer and bring feedback to product teams to influence feature development and future product roadmap. Provide advanced technical knowledge to domain-aligned teams to unblock customers’ largest and most critical business challenges. Act as a thought leader, sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, and public-speaking events. Develop and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts worldwide. About the Team The US Federal Specialist Solutions Architecture Team consists of Security, Networking, Hybrid Edge, GEN AI, Containers, and GovCloud Specialist Solutions Architects. This team supports the US Federal customer base, providing thought leadership and deep AWS expertise. Basic Qualifications 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures. 5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries. 4+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics). Preferred Qualifications Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries. Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud. Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective. Intermediate/advanced knowledge of AWS services. 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience. 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and managing Kubernetes environments at scale. Proven experience architecting containerized applications and microservices architectures.
