Overview
Project Overview: This is a mission-critical project involving the migration of multiple product delivery teams’ Agile backlog and story delivery from ServiceNow to Azure DevOps while maintaining a sync back to ServiceNow. The move to Azure DevOps will fit into the overall delivery model with the rest of the company and scale into compliance-driven efforts to leverage pipeline delivery and code repositories.
Responsibilities
Agile Facilitation: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews; coach team members on Agile principles and Scrum practices; foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
Delivery Management: Manage sprint execution and backlog grooming in Azure DevOps; track and report velocity, burndown charts, and delivery metrics; remove impediments and escalate issues to ensure sprint goals are met.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers to ensure clear understanding of requirements; communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders and leadership.
ServiceNow Focus: Support delivery of ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM); coordinate with platform teams to align on release schedules and technical dependencies; ensure compliance with ServiceNow development standards and governance.
Qualifications (must have)
Must have experience in Azure DevOps.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience; greater than 6 years’ experience required.
Intermediate to advanced understanding of software development methodologies and fundamentals (Agile, SCRUM, Kanban, Lean, Waterfall, etc.).
Experience with developing, testing and deploying software using rapid, iterative delivery methods.
Understanding of the full software development life cycle including planning, requirements management, development, quality assurance, change management and release management.
Exposure to continuous integration and test-driven development practices, test automation and related tools.
Experience with Agile Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools (JIRA, Rally, VersionOne).
Pay Range and Benefits Pay Rate Range : 86 - 90 USD hourly
