This is a DevOps AWS Engineer role focused on building and maintaining scalable, reliable infrastructure using AWS, Jenkins, GitHub, and Terraform, with collaboration across development and operations teams.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable infrastructure on AWS.

Architect and maintain application infrastructure.

Collaborate with development teams to define infrastructure requirements and provide guidance on best practices.

Improve the Change management process of the team.

Provide status updates and effectively communicate to team members and stakeholders.

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for efficient application deployment and release management.

Manage and automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform.

Monitor and troubleshoot system and application issues, ensuring high availability and performance.

Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to ensure health and performance of the infrastructure.

Perform regular system and application security audits and implement necessary measures to protect the environment.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize software development and deployment processes.

Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps, SRE, and cloud technologies.

Desired Qualifications

5+ years of experience with AWS.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Strong experience as a DevOps Engineer or SRE in a production environment.

Advanced knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation).

Expertise in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub.

Solid understanding of source code management with GitHub (branching, merging, PRs).

Hands-on experience with Terraform and Helm for infrastructure provisioning and management.

Basic scripting skills (e.g., Node.js).

Experience with Docker and container orchestration (e.g., EKS) is a plus.

Ability to present and implement best practices; strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Knowledge of networking, load balancing, and security best practices in cloud environments.

Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Loki Stack).

Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.

Deep understanding of change management and DevOps practices.

Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Understanding of infrastructure reliability and resilience.

Compensation and deadline If you are hired in New York, Maryland, Connecticut, Rhode Island, the compensation range for this position is between $115,000 and $140,000 for full-time employees, in addition to eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits.
