Join our Team at the College of Coastal Georgia! The College of Coastal Georgia is located on the southeast Atlantic coast in Brunswick, midway between Savannah, Georgia and Jacksonville, Florida. It is an undergraduate college in the University System of Georgia with an additional outreach through the Camden Center in Kingsland, Georgia. Job Summary
This is a 19.5 hour per week maximum, part-time student position. The student employee must be able to positively represent this Office and the College to internal and external constituents with a positive and professional demeanor at all times. The student employee must have effective writing, verbal communication, and Microsoft Office skills. They may come into contact with confidential information and may serve as the first point of contact for students, guests and families visiting the Student Solution Center. The position will assist in answering inbound and outbound calls for the College's main line as well as the Offices of Financial Aid, Student Accounts, Testing, Academic Advising, Housing and Admissions. Work Study students will aid the Solution Center Specialist in daily operations and other duties as assigned. The weekly schedule will be assigned by the supervisor in conjunction with the student's class schedule and may change between semesters or as needed. Students are not to work during scheduled class time, even if class is cancelled or dismissed early. Responsibilities
Provide assistance to students while completing forms and other related tasks. Perform clerical duties. Run errands at the discretion of the supervisor. Assist with special projects. Provide assistance to students while completing forms, applications, and federal and state websites. Support campus outreach efforts to educate students on the services and resources provided by the Student Solution Center. Perform any related work as required. Required Qualifications
Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at all times Must have Federal Work Study funds awarded on your Coast Award letter Must upload your Coast Award Letter when prompted to do so May not be employed in more than one job at a time on campus Salary
