Ab Initio Developer
to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain high-performance ETL solutions using Ab Initio, collaborating with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data is efficiently processed and delivered. Base pay range: $110,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr. The Role
Responsibilities: Design and develop scalable ETL solutions using Ab Initio (GDE, EME, Conduct>IT, etc.). Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Optimize data processing workflows for performance and reliability. Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and integrity. Maintain and enhance existing Ab Initio applications and workflows. Troubleshoot and resolve data and ETL issues in a timely manner. Document technical designs, processes, and procedures. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 8+ years of hands-on experience with Ab Initio tools (GDE, EME, Conduct>IT, etc.). Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL best practices. Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases (Oracle, Teradata, etc.). Experience with performance tuning and large-scale data processing. Familiarity with Unix/Linux shell scripting. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred, but not required
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data migration. Knowledge of data governance and data security practices. Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience with other ETL tools or big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus. We offer
