Corporate M&A/Private Equity Associate – Class of 2020-2022 – New York A prestigious global law firm is seeking a talented mid-level Associate (Class of 2020-2022) to join its elite M&E/Private Equity team in New York. The firm is investing in the growth of its global M&A/PE group, serving blue chip clients including multinational corporations, private equity firms, financial sponsors, and investors with market-leading M&A and Private Equity transactions. In this role, you will advise corporate clients and private equity funds on mergers, strategic acquisitions, dispositions, minority investments, and general corporate matters, working closely with prominent clients across various industries. Responsibilities
Advise corporate clients and private equity funds on M&A and Private Equity transactions, including strategic acquisitions, dispositions, and minority investments. Draft and negotiate transaction documents; manage deal processes and timelines; coordinate with internal and external teams. Provide general corporate guidance and counsel on market terms and corporate matters. Work with autonomy in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Qualifications
3–5 years of experience handling M&A and Private Equity transactions; strong understanding of corporate law and market terms; substantial experience drafting transaction documents and managing deals. Exceptional academic credentials. Admitted to practice law and in good standing in the State of New York. Ability to take on a high level of responsibility and work autonomously within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Why Apply?
