Overview
Account Relations Representative ensures complete and accurate onboarding and commission payouts to our agencies, IMO/BGAs, and NMOs. This role is the main point of contact for top-tier customers when escalated issues arise and requires exceptional support for our Distribution Partners, Sales, Marketing, & Operations teams.

About The Role The Account Relations Representative ensures onboarding and commission payouts are accurate, and serves as a SME for Licensing, Contracting and Commissions. You will work across Distribution and Sales to resolve issues and educate partners on best practices.
Responsibilities
Be the available point of contact for IMO/BGA/NMO matters not proceeding optimally and own the resolution until satisfaction.
Gather and relay feedback from IMO regarding service quality to leadership through strong relationship building.
Build and maintain relationships with Sales and Distribution teams; serve as main contact for assigned channels to foster collaboration and issue resolution.
Identify and remove obstacles across the organization to resolve issues.
Be the key contact for Distribution and Sales questions and escalations, covering Licensing, Contracting, Underwriting, New Business, and Customer Service.
Maintain open communication with sales teams and distribution partners to ensure all parties are informed.
Lead relationship calls and educate IMO/BGA/NMOs and back-office teams on best practices and issue resolutions.
Participate in KOP meetings and conferences; act as SME on one or more areas and contribute to complex projects within LC&C.
Demonstrate holistic understanding of Licensing, Contracting, and Commissions plus product knowledge.
Coach and mentor colleagues; review processes for efficiencies and improvements.
Balance discretion and judgment with controls while managing requests; handle special requests expediently to maintain relationships.
Skills And Qualifications
Associate’s degree from a two-year college or technical school (foundation degree, diploma).
Finance industry knowledge; strong customer service skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office; MS Access/Excel knowledge preferred.
Excellent problem solving, verbal and written communication, and attention to detail.
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks in a fast-paced environment; strong presentation skills.
Work Location This position is based in Corebridge Financial’s Houston office and follows our hybrid work policy, offering a mix of in-office and remote work.
