Accounting & Finance Recruiter (direct hire, contract to hire, and contract type placements) Are you ready to make an impact as a Financial Analyst with a mission-driven organization? LHH is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst for a temp-to-hire opportunity with a leading non-profit healthcare provider. This hybrid role requires just one day per week in the office here in San Diego. Responsibilities

Assist in preparing operating and capital budgets. Analyze and report on financial performance by division, department, and program. Develop and prepare complex financial and statistical reports to summarize and forecast business activity. Perform calculations and prepare general ledger journal entries for various accounts. Data collection, analysis, consolidation for the sake of budgets. Monitor and evaluate budget-to-actual and year-over-year activity, communicating significant deviations. Provide analytical support for revenue cycle management, including billing, metrics, and contract reimbursements. Assist in developing and implementing financial systems for cost control and decision support. Prepare productivity and key performance indicator reports, charts, and graphs. Prepare quarterly and annual federal grant and external cost reports. Ad-hoc and special analytical projects and create models to support recommendations. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in financial analysis. Prior experience in healthcare or non-profit environments is preferred. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial reporting software required; experience with Sage Intacct, Workday Adaptive Planning, or Epic EPM is a plus. Strong knowledge of financial concepts, business analysis, and key performance indicators. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Benefits
