About The Role The Senior Manager – Paid Social role is a team lead role for a paid social advertising professional who enjoys coaching digital marketers, assisting on strategy and account management, and directly managing larger digital ad accounts. You’ll work at the intersection of online advertising execution and fast-growth startup environments with a fast-growing agency focused on client performance and ROI. You should be confident in driving improvements in account performance and in developing and managing talent.
Responsibilities
Client & Team Revenue Oversight
Serve as the main point of contact and client team lead for our biggest clients
Manage a team of 1-2 Account Managers and Senior Account Managers
Revenue & retention responsibilities for team accounts
Participate in onboarding, renewal calls, and other important client communications
Drive overall account strategy, forecasting, and planning
Analyze performance data and KPIs
Create and deliver quarterly performance reviews for direct reports
Lead weekly team meetings to track progress toward client & team goals
Maintain excellent standards and quality of service; think creatively to develop innovative tactics
Contribute to projects, process changes, and roll-outs
Assist with and run advanced trainings on new features and services
Create best practices and assist in developing process documents
About You The essentials:
4+ years of direct paid social client management including Facebook and LinkedIn advertising strategy development, execution, and client relationship management
1+ year in a supervisory role directly managing other digital marketing professionals
Experience presenting digital marketing strategy to C-Suite and executive audiences
Passion for crunching numbers, analyzing data in Google Analytics or Facebook Business Manager, and navigating Excel
Strong communication skills when presenting digital marketing strategy to executive audiences
Ability to lead and develop others while ensuring team success
Comfort with both detailed work and high-level strategic thinking
Driven and innovative mindset
4-year college degree or equivalent work experience
Not a Must, But a Plus
Directly managed paid search or social budgets of $100,000+ in monthly ad spend
Exposure to paid search, paid social, display and remarketing efforts
Comfortable optimizing toward back-end metrics from a CRM such as Salesforce
