Park Capital Search has been retained by a Private Equity Sponsor, in search of a proven VP of Finance. In the fast-paced world of construction, precision, foresight, and strategic leadership are the cornerstones of success. We are seeking a visionary Vice President of Finance to serve as a trusted partner to our Founder & CEO—someone who thrives on building robust financial processes, mastering project accounting, and driving transformative growth through mergers and acquisitions. This is more than a finance role—it’s an opportunity to shape the future of a dynamic, high-growth construction company. You will be at the helm of financial strategy, ensuring that every project, every investment, and every acquisition is executed with excellence, integrity, and long-term vision. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership:

Serve as the company’s chief financial strategist, advising the CEO and executive team on fiscal planning, risk management, and growth opportunities. Lead the development and execution of financial strategies aligned with corporate objectives. Process Excellence:

Design, implement, and continuously improve financial processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and scalability. Establish best practices for budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Project Accounting:

Oversee all aspects of project-based financial management, including cost tracking, revenue recognition, and profitability analysis. Partner with operations to ensure accurate job costing and timely reporting. Mergers & Acquisitions:

Lead financial due diligence, valuation, and integration planning for acquisitions. Identify and evaluate strategic M&A opportunities to accelerate growth. Team Leadership & Development:

Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure financial alignment across departments. Reporting & Compliance:

Deliver timely, accurate financial reports to the CEO, Board, and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards. Qualifications

Proven track record in senior finance leadership roles, ideally within construction or project-based industries. Deep expertise in process optimization, project accounting, and M&A execution. Strong business development acumen with the ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities. Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills. CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred.
