Senior Tax Accountant

for our client’s global real estate investment platform that organizes the purchase, construction, improvement and management of investment properties for its partners and investors. With offices in the US and abroad, the Company serves sophisticated investors from high-net-worth individuals and family offices to prominent institutions. Position The Senior Tax Accountant will support the firm’s accounting and tax compliance functions planning for their commercial real estate investment and private equity portfolios. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role ideal for someone with a strong foundation in accounting and experience in both partnership and corporate taxation. The successful candidate will support the company’s tax filings in conjunction with its external tax partner and play a key role in financial reviews and investor reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all regulatory requirements. Responsibilities

Financial Review: Review monthly and quarterly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and general ledger to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Tax Filings: Review federal, state, and local tax filings for entities, including partnerships, LLCs, C-Corps, and other compliance filings. Tax Estimates & Projections: Assist with preparing quarterly income projections and making timely estimated tax payments for the Federal, State and local tax authorities. Investor Tax Reporting: Help prepare investor tax reporting, including K-1 allocations and waterfall calculations and review of Schedule K-1s. Audit Support: Assist in managing tax audits and responding to notices from tax authorities. Compliance Calendar: Maintain and update the tax calendar to ensure all tax return filing obligations and tax payments are met in a timely manner. Documentation & Coordination: Assist with gathering necessary documentation and liaising with external parties Qualifications, Personal Skills & Attributes

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation; Master’s in Taxation or Accounting is a plus. 5+ years of experience in public accounting, preferably within small to mid-sized firms. Strong bookkeeping background with demonstrated experience from books to tax preparation is required. Extensive experience preparing business tax returns, including corporate and partnership returns. Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Seniority level
